Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. Apart from his Road Trip role, he also appeared in The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. In addition to his work in Road Trip, he's been featured in more than 22 television programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma and diagnosed with at age 14 Qualls is a fighter. Two years after treatment, the cancer is now in remission. But, earlier treatment had a severe impact on his health, and slowed development. After he began performing, financial stability was the goal. He'd experienced poverty in his childhood. I've lived so frugally over the years that I need to have that financial security or else the world seems beyond my control, he stated in an interview. He also looks back at his childhood and hopes to take action on the problem of the bullying. The cruelty he experiences breaks his heart. His ideal role in film and in his life is father. He admits that Directors do not have me as a character. He'd love to become the father of his child one day so he can devote more time to his son and less to his career.
